I'm inclined to say it was probably written as a two hour pilot or as two separate episodes with the first hour ending with the plane rescue. (That seems like a more natural pacing to me.) Or perhaps that's just how CBS wanted the first episode. Their shows are focused on a different demographic, so that sort of pacing might be exactly how NCIS, et al flow.Jim Shelleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05006833955333061262noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4778276361957351199.post-70783842900663463282015-10-29T02:23:09.304-04:002015-10-29T02:23:09.304-04:00My 11-year old daughter liked it, so that's go...My 11-year old daughter liked it, so that's good enough for me.Renohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07823784138400910666noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4778276361957351199.post-12134425268227066892015-10-28T11:31:17.688-04:002015-10-28T11:31:17.688-04:00I liked the feel of the show; less frantic, cutawa...I liked the feel of the show; less frantic, cutaway action, lower noise level. But then, I'm way out of the demographic for this show...but a kid at heart.<br />Lately I've been watching a lot of 50s-6os show and anthology series on local tv sub-carriers, almost all of which is in the original glorious black and white.John on the Sunset Coasthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06613893870788575260noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4778276361957351199.post-30779578413649405452015-10-28T08:13:26.894-04:002015-10-28T08:13:26.894-04:00It definitely has a CBS throwback feel to it. Still, I felt like the pilot could have used 2 hours or at least an hour and a half to give relationships and character development more room.Treyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04647628467658839351noreply@blogger.com
