I remember that scene with the staff now that you mention it.

You know, back in the day (70s/80s) Marvel used to do a good job at explaining such inconsistencies. Now they just seem to gloss over them. I guess they could argue, we'll that's a plot point most people aren't familiar with, so we going to overlook it for the sake of the nice scene of Hawkeye and Mockingbird getting back together.

My problem is, the beauty of their reunion is worth something ONLY if everyone thinks of her as being dead all this time and to not explain the incidents inbetween her death and return sort of makes it like she was at the Circle K all this time.Jim Shelleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05006833955333061262noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4778276361957351199.post-55642546367064157822009-01-08T14:43:00.000-05:002009-01-08T14:43:00.000-05:00I suspet that it is a Skrull in Hell is how they w...I suspet that it is a Skrull in Hell is how they will explain it.

Mockingbird that is in Hell is a Skrull who was so much into her Mockingbird persona that she really thought she was Mockingbird or something like that.

Maybe Mockingskrull really fell in love with Hawkeye and wanted to save him?? ;)

Or maybe they will just ignore it as they did with many such mistake??Pierre Villeneuvehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15854557074243337917noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4778276361957351199.post-80753509875628721722009-01-08T10:34:00.000-05:002009-01-08T10:34:00.000-05:00I seem to recall that they did, too. And I also remember a Thunderbolts annual where Hawkeye leads the Thunderbolts to hell to save mockingbird, but in the end it turned out to be Patsy Walker. But before all that, Mockingbird's staff is thrown from out of nowhere to save Clint from some demons (at least that's how I remember it).

Unless it was a Skrull Mockingbird who was in hell. :PRenohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13706715472542842560noreply@blogger.com
