Bill Black did a 3D Man revival called Commando D, who has appeared in various AC titles - mostly older stuff from the 1980's, tho I think he showed up in an issue of the Fighting Yank comic and Retro Comics. www.accomics.comitskoreysworldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02270613906825780838noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4778276361957351199.post-68126174883229343092011-08-02T20:55:43.406-04:002011-08-02T20:55:43.406-04:00lol I actually wanted to include Holo-Man in the a...lol I actually wanted to include Holo-Man in the article, Jamdin. Space is limited, so he will be the subject of another article, I promise!

And, Mattcomix...I used to have that Encyclopedia. I think that is how I first found the Zebra! And I agree..."hard sell" does get strung around many heroes necks! I think that is why some companies cancil theor books way too early (in my opinion). They don't give them the chance to build a true reader following. And I do hope that your flashback was a good one!

Thank you for the comments, guys!

ClaytonPopbox Entertainmenthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00089785595537390797noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4778276361957351199.post-74576385206494923282011-08-01T16:51:17.977-04:002011-08-01T16:51:17.977-04:00I remember 3-D Man and Holoman from Jeff Rovin'...I remember 3-D Man and Holoman from Jeff Rovin's book The Encyclopedia of Superheroes. I think I checked it out from my local library at least a billion times so this is a true flashback for me.

"Outdated" gets tossed around a lot. The one I hate more is "hard sell". Both get strung around Superman's neck all the time. Which is as amusing as it is annoying considering the entire industry is still using a graphic novel from 1986 as its holy style-guide. Who's *really* being "outdated"?MattComixhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14015552734150732758noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4778276361957351199.post-66138227847941274812011-08-01T10:44:43.391-04:002011-08-01T10:44:43.391-04:00I'm still waiting for the return of Holo-ManI'm still waiting for the return of Holo-ManJamdinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09895066301153503489noreply@blogger.com
